This little device is going to save me a LOT of money in plumber's bills. My shower drains through a 60-year-old, 4-inch cast iron drain line and was clogging regularly, mostly with hair. Since I started using the DrainWig over a year ago there have been no more clogs, no more back-ups and no more expensive emergency visits by the local drain-rooter service. Virtually all the hair that would otherwise get clogged down the line gets caught right at the drain where it can be thrown away every month or so. A great little product!

Pretty easy to use. I lost the other one and recently just found it. Need to get more soon because they get full pretty quickly. But pretty easy to shove down the drain and remove again when needed.

I've always used the over the drain hair catchers and I never felt like they were really doing the job. They were always in the way, getting kicked off the drain, and dirty looking. These Drain Wigs are great, I still clean the hair that builds around the top each shower, but it so much better, you don't even know it's there, very neat and clean looking. Definitely does a good job too, I finally pulled up first one today after using for a couple months and it had caught quite a bit of hair even with me cleaning the top!

These are disgusting but they work! Just put them in the drain and in a few weeks to a few months, depending on how much hair goes down the drain, pull it out and the most foul-smelling, disgusting hair monster will come along for the ride! We do NOT clean and reuse these but throw the whole thing in the trash, although I suppose you could try to clean them. It's pretty nasty, though, and you probably won't want to spend any more time with the hair monster than necessary. Cheap enough to replace, so just toss it!

I highly recommend these to anyone who has women in their house with long hair. I typically change these out every 3-4 months in my shower. It does a great job of collecting the hair that goes down the shower drain. I haven't had to use any type of unclogging gel in over a year now. I even bought the ones that go in your bath tubs now. I've started giving them as gifts to people so they can see how wonderful they really are!! I always have a spare set in each bathroom of these. They are also incredibly easy to install and remove.
